Photos I will be using for my final draft

I decided to use this for my front cover because the model is staring in a straight position directly to the reader. The lighting looks very natural which is what I expected from this photo. by looking directly, it shows his emotions as I chose to convey a more serious look which is very common for models to inhabit that mood. By using this for my front cover, I am able to edit myself easily by using the 'Color Balance' tool to make it blend in to my blueish colour scheme. i decided to remove the fedora because I feel that it gets in the way of the camera's lens causing it to capture an cut picture.

For picture 2, it focuses too much on the background but if I focus more on the upper body, the picture will not look surrounded from the reader's eye. it drones away from the face and to improve this, I will focus on the mid shot angle by increasing the size of the figure and placing myself into a possible space for the contents page.

This will be the photo i will be using for my double page spread. i really like the way the pose creates an effective shadow from behind the model (me) and that I think that the photo will look much better if it was in black and white which makes it even more unique.

I used a camera called a Sony A65. The results from using this camera is fantastic; the resolution is very clean and high quality and it's much more better than the previous camera that I had used (Pentax WG II). Overall, I was very satisfied with these photos. However, it still has that shining tint as these pictures were taken in a dim background and I used Flash mode to capture my poses, giving a bright colour that is similar to an actual photoshoot.
