draft for article
Interviewer: James Paxton

Amos Del Fuego takes 2015 by storm with his exclusive music such as the UK's favourite "Reveal". He reached fame at the young age of 17 years old. He has done many collaborations with famous bands such as Mumford and Sons but also with other pop singers such as Jessie J and Ariana Grande. He is well known for pioneering the rock/pop genre bringing the generation of music to a whole new level.Hi Amos, it’s been 2 months since I last interviewed you. Tell me, how did this all began?
Well James, I just love what I do: creating music. my main interests were art, sports and I never expected to become so famous from the start. I've always performed outside my local town centre very summer playing the songs that i had practised with my guitar until suddenly, I caught the eye of a music agent who works from the Coda Music Agency in London. He told me in a mature voice "you've got a lot of potential lad". At first, I didn't know what he was talking about. I went to London to meet the agent and I did a few recording sessions with him and the producer. He then decided to broadcast one of my early songs in BBC Radio 1 and the presenters mentioned my name. After that, other producers started requesting me and that’s how I’m known by everyone.
How did you get the name "Amos Del Fuego". Was it just a name that you've got from your head?
I was often called Amos a lot from my family and friends even though I was born Colin Valdez. The origin of the name came from the Bible- it means "carried by God" as I was brought up in a religious household. "Fuego" is Spanish for fire as my parents described me as a rebellious teenager.
How do you react to your own fan base?
I think it's an honour to be admired by so many fans. Every morning, I always received a pile of letters from them. It passes the time and I find it a treat for myself as I responded as many as I can. Usually, I take up to 50-100 letters every month as I am a fast writer. In some occasions, they sometimes send me gifts for example, chocolates, roses and all sorts. It's like having two birthdays!
What does your song "Reveal" about?
This song is about expressing yourself whether if you are black or white or if you feel judged because of what you look like and that it really pinpoints the adversity of being different and the struggles I had to go through in my youth. I find it stressful and frustrating to even think about it. It's like breaking glass with your bare hands whenever it consumes you like a disease.
What type of music do you listen to?
when I listen to music, I'm all over the place; I mostly listen to Classical music as it inspires me to create a song and even, drawing something that I get from my imagination. Also, I love listening to the Beatles' music because they inspired me to play my old guitar.
what can we expect from your new album "Turbulence"?
If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise. All I can say that it's an album that everyone will want to get their hands on.
If you had the chance to perform with another singer, who would it be?
If I had the chance to perform with somebody famous, I would perform with Nicki Minaj. Her rapping style brings music to my ears and that I really like her song Pills N Potions because it sounds really poetic every time I listen to it. It also reveals her calm, musical side and that she converges it well with rap. that's where I got the idea of combining two genres into one.
Thank you for interviewing with us and again, It has been a great privilege to finally meet you!
No, thank you've just given a whole new experience. this interview has got me out of my comfort zone as I had never shared my thoughts with someone else before.

Recommendations from my questionnaire
After receiving my results from my 20 respondents, i am going to be able to make a final recommendations such as:
- I am going to be aiming my magazine towards young adults aged 16-18 years.
- It will be aimed at both genders which I had expected.
- I will be focusing on pop/rock genres and for this I will add different music that appeals to these two genres and to my target audience.
- The overall colour scheme that I will use is Blue. by using this colour, i will be able to find ways to make my magazine look eye-catching to the reader's eye.
- I found out that "interviews" is the most popular magazine article

mock ups for my magazine
Mock ups for merge from Msiscar76
Further feedback from other people
Mock up 1
Candidate 1- "The layout is very good but I think that looks too basic especially on the front cover mock up. the contents page looks very easy to read through and that the double-page spread looks really neat".
Mock up 2
Candidate 2- "I like the way the front cover mock up looks really clean; you chose not to include too many sell lines as you don't want to cover up the main image, the contents page looks very informative; you decided to pinpoint the most important articles within the magazine. The double page spread looks very organised. You know which part you're going to add on both pages".
Mock up 3
Candidate 3- "The front cover layout looks similar to mock up 2 as the position of the cover lines are almost the same. You did the sane thing for the contents page but you put the page numbers opposite to each other to make it look eye-catching to the reader. The double page spread is just plain".
